The body evokes the look of a dune buggy, hence the name.

This body design is reminiscent of the intentionally old looking designs of the three-wheeled cars produced by Morgan. It however actually comes from Crash Tag Team Racing as Crash's Tier 1 car in the PSP version, and could be imported to the PS2 version. This body is very similar to the designs of the cars Crash raced in the Hog Wild, Road Crash and Orange Asphalt levels in Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped. This body comes from the PSP version of Crash Tag Team Racing, where it was known as the Pasadena Speed and was Pasedena O' Possum's Tier 2 car. The look of this body is reminiscent of classic UK sports cars from the 60s.
